The landlord, Robert Sukle, is a Senior Lecturer in Asian Studies at Cornell University. He directs the Japanese FALCON Program (an intensive full-year program in Japanese language study). In addition to teaching the Japanese language, his interests are antiques, art pottery and gardening.
